Labours at Bac Giang’s industrial parks sharply increase

(BGO) – Because most of the production businesses have resumed operation, the number of labours in the industrial parks in Bac Giang province have sharply increased.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, 377 enterprises in the industrial parks resumed operation (100 percent) with about 169,000 labours, up more than 19,000 people comparing to the figure before the pandemic outbreak.

With the determination to protect the supply chain, Bac Giang province has flexibly applied several measures, established Steering Board to assist the operational recovery for industrial production and trade, particularly supporting local firms to employ labours.

Besides, many companies have offered attractive policies to labours so many of them come to work. Typically, Newwing Interconnect Technology Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park provides basic salary, meal cost, attendance allowance and hostel renting expense; Vina Solar Technology Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park supports hundreds of workers coming from other provincies to accommodate at the company and equip them with individual utensils.

Thanks to the synchronous solution, more and more workers come to work at the industrial parks to meet the enterprises’ demand for production and business.

In the upcoming time, many companies, especially big groups will have huge employment demand of over 20,000 labours to expand the production, such as Luxshare – ICT Vietnam (12,000 people); Newwing Interconnect Technology Company Limited (5,000 people); Lens Vietnam Technology (1,000 people) among others.
