Le Hong Son, Director of the municipal Department of Education and Training, called on local residents to engage in life-long learning and join hands in building a learning society, thus turning Ho Chi Minh City into a civilized, modern and smart urban area that develops sustainably.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said over the past years, the life-long learning week has been held in many localities nationwide and attracted the participation of departments, agencies, organizations and individuals.

Learning English with foreign teachers still sees shortcomings
(BGO) - Implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TU dated March 31, 2016 of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, in the past two academic years, schools in Bac Giang province have applied a new model: learning English with foreign teachers. Initially, the model has brought about certain renovations, encouraging the English learning movement in schools. However, there are still shortcomings that need to be fixed.

Relics honour Bac Giang’s learning tradition
(BGO) - Bac Giang is a land with the tradition of learning and taking Confucian examinations. Throughout the historical periods, Confucianism has left a treasure of rich knowledge and many valuable legacies such as relics of schools, Confucian temples and shrines, steles, families’ ancestor worship houses and places for the worship of the homeland’s laureates and scholars.
