The train includes two VIP carriages, each featuring 16 single sofas and five sets of 20-seat sofas arranged in three distinct spaces.
The VIP carriages have natural wooden floors, elegant interiors, free Wi-Fi, and a bar with live musical performances.
The remaining 18 carriages offer 56 swivel seats, plastic carpeted floors, stone-patterned plastic walls, and decorative LED ceilings.
Hai Phong authorities hoped the new train will enhance railway tourism and provide a unique experience for travelers.
Ticket prices for the train have yet to be announced.
Over the past five years, the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway, which spans 102 km, has become increasingly popular for food tours. In 2024, more than 1.5 million passengers traveled by train between the two cities, up from 1.4 million in 2023, according to official statistics.
Recently, several luxury trains have been introduced on routes to Vietnam's popular tourist destinations, enhancing travel experience for visitors.
