The enthusiasm of blue-shirt volunteers
With youthful energy, dynamism, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility for the community, in the Youth Month 2025, the youth of Bac Giang have joined hands with local authorities to carry out many tasks and projects, contributing to ensuring social security, building new-style rural areas, and creating civilised urban areas.
Observing the theme "Vietnamese youth are proud and confident in following the Party," youth unions at all levels, from the provincial to the grassroots, have conducted meaningful and practical activities.

The spirit of pioneering and volunteerism among young people has contributed to the completion of local socio-economic tasks.
Taking advantage of weekends, 100 youth union members in Tan Son commune (Luc Ngan district) arrived early to support the family of Hung Van Thom (born in 1992) in Bac Hoa village in planting forest.
Each person had a different task: some dug holes, some planted trees, and others watered them. In two mornings, 8,000 acacia seedlings were planted across 4 hectares of forest.
Thom is an ethnic Nung youth who has always strived to improve his life and actively participated in local movements and activities.
The acacia seedlings are part of the 2025 project on climate relief, green transformation, green economy, and ensuring a sustainable environment, with the message "Nurturing Green Seeds for a Bright Future,".
The project was launched by the Bac Giang Youth Union in partnership with Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd., which donated these seedlings to his family. It is expected that in about five years, the acacia forest will be ready for harvest.
Beyond economic development, many activities supporting social security have also been implemented. The newly-paved road leading to Tan Dinh village, Toan Thang commune (Hiep Hoa district), still lacked a lighting system.
To improve the situation, the communal Youth Union coordinated with local authorities and people to carry out the 40 million VND (1,563 USD) "Lighting up Rural Roads" project, which stretches 1.5 kilometers.
At this time, many Youth Month activities are also taking place at various youth organisations in Hiep Hoa district, aiming to build new-style rural and civilised urban areas.
For example, the Doan Bai commune Youth Union is carrying out the "Youth Tree Line" project and offering free haircuts, while the Mai Trung commune Youth Union arranges visits to historical sites for young people.
From February 23 to the end of March, the Youth Month 2025 focuses on activities that build new-style rural and civilised urban areas, support people in difficult circumstances, actively apply science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, assist young people in starting a business, and ensure social security, especially for policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged youth.
To achieve effectiveness, all the activities and criteria of Youth Month have been carefully planned and prepared by youth organisations at all levels.

With their enthusiasm and spirit of working together for the community, in 2024, the youth across the province collaborated with authorities, organisations, and businesses to build 206 new houses and repair 130 others, and contributed thousands of workdays, with a total value of over 7.5 billion VND.
Building on these results, this year, youth organisations aim to provide 1.2 billion VND worth of paint and construction materials and 6,000 workdays. These efforts will peak during the Youth Month and the Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign.
As part of Youth Month this year, as of now, youth organisations across the province have implemented 336 youth projects, planted over 100,000 trees, organised more than 200 digital transformation communication groups, and implemented numerous plastic waste reduction models.
These activities have attracted the participation of tens of thousands of youth union members.
