Bac Giang provincial leader directs Department of Industry and Trade to ensure sufficient electricity demand
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of March 25, Pham Van Thinh, member of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) had a working session with the Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT).
At the meeting, the DoIT proposed to allow the adjustment of the industrial cluster development plan in the Bac Giang Provincial Planning (when the planning adjustment period comes).

The Provincial People's Committee was requested to direct the People's Committees of districts, township and city to coordinate with investors of power projects in the area to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in site clearance for project implementation, especially key projects on power lines and substations.
In order to effectively promote the consumption of lychee and staple agricultural products for 2025 as proposed, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Finance were suggested to consider submitting to competent authorities to supplement trade promotion funds for the DoIT.
Speaking at the event, PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh acknowledged the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector in recent times. Agreeing with the recommendations, he assigned relevant departments and branches to coordinate and advise on solutions as soon as possible, focusing on the task of promoting lychee consumption.
He suggested that from the model of the Mia market (Tan My ward, Bac Giang city), it is necessary to advice on the construction of a wholesale agricultural market for the province.

Amid the development of the 4.0 technology era, it is crucial to apply artificial intelligence in creating chains and consuming agricultural products.
He emphasized that the DoIT’s leaders must be exemplary and creative in direction and implementation based on reality. The province must ensure no shortage of electricity for production and daily life as well as electrical safety during the hot season.
It is a must to drastically speed up the progress of power projects, finalize the execution progress in implementing industrial clusters to have a basis for reviewing, handling and revoking projects.
