Gold prices have hit a record-high of nearly VND73 million per tael, which makes the bouquet’s worth around VND7.3 billion.
Luxury bouquets and gifts are not uncommon on festive occasions in Vietnam. Last year an American customer ordered a two-meter high vase with flowers costing VND65 million to gift his wife in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the prices of Da Lat cut roses have doubled to VND30-50,000 each.
