The fair features more than 170 booths displaying over 1,050 products, which were qualified for the OCOP programme, by around 180 units, businesses, and cooperatives, from 34 cities and provinces across the country.

In addition, typical OCOP products of Quang Ninh province, as well as the provincial socio-economic development potentials, were showcased to visitors on the occasion, to attract more investment to Mong Cai city, while boosting import and export activities between Quang Ninh and Chinese localities.

Fair-goers were also introduced to an online platform of Quang Ninh’s OCOP products, to promote enterprises to apply digital solutions in their business activities.

According to the Director of Quang Ninh provincial Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thi Hien, the OCOP fair in Mong Cai city is an opportunity for businesses from inside and outside the province, to expand their markets and seek importers via the Mong Cai Border Gate.

The fair also creates a venue for locals and visitors to shop for products and local specialities, with high quality and diverse designs, thus contributing to stimulating tourism and shopping demand at the end of 2022, while promoting Quang Ninh as a friendly, safe and attractive destination.

Promoting brand of Ven village OCOP tourism product
