NA inherits and promotes the spirit of continuous innovation efforts

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue praised leaders of agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the Standing Committee of the NA, each cadre and employee of the NA Office and suggested that they continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, unity, and synergy to fulfil their tasks from now until the end of the year.

The NA leader made the request at the meeting on the afternoon of July 7 on the results of the first 6 months of the year and the work plan for the last 6 months of 2022.

He noted that the NA Party Delegation, the NA Standing Committee, agencies have strictly grasped the direction of the NA, the Politburo and the Secretariat and promptly concretised and institutionalised the resolutions of the Party Central Committee and the guiding documents of the central agencies, thus meeting the requirements of national construction and development.

Looking back over the past 6 months, the NA has completed quite comprehensively all areas of work, creating many outstanding impressions, showing that from the quality of operations, professionalism and efficiency have all been improved while law-making, supreme supervision, decision-making on important national issues, internal and external harmonisation and coordination, leadership, and direction and guidance of the People's Council also achieved positive results.

NA Chairman Hue urged the delegates to focus on completing the Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee (amended) and the scheme on the number of staff and the internal organisational structure of the Office of the National Assembly to be submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and promulgation; and to continue to complete the Project on continuing to innovate to improve the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly session, among others.
