Nearly 64% of Bac Giang industrial parks occupied

BAC GIANG - To date, Bac Giang province has 10 industrial parks which received approval for investment policies with a total planning area of over 2,470 hectares, including over 1,680 hectares of industrial land and nearly 46 hectares of administrative service land for lease.

According to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, there are currently 8 industrial parks in operation, including: Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Vietnam Korea, Van Trung (Viet Yen township); Song Khe - Noi Hoang (Bac Giang city), Tan Hung (Lang Giang), Hoa Phu (Hiep Hoa) and Yen Lu (Yen Dung).

The leased area of ​​industrial land and administrative service land reached 1,080 hectares and 15.15 hectares respectively, accounting for an occupancy rate of nearly 64%.

Of which, three industrial parks are fully occupied, including Dinh Tram, Van Trung (Viet Yen township) and Song Khe - Noi Hoang (Bac Giang city). Three industrial parks with occupancy rate of over 95% are Quang Chau, first phase of Vietnam Korea (Viet Yen township) and Hoa Phu (Hiep Hoa). Tan Hung Industrial Park (Lang Giang) has an occupancy rate of 83% while only Yen Lu Industrial Park (Yen Dung) has reached 8.96%.

By the end of September 2024, the total investment projects in the province's industrial parks were 512 projects (396 foreign-invested projects and 116 domestic-invested projects).

The total registered investment capital reached more than 11.06 billion USD and more than 25 trillion VND. The realized investment capital is estimated at more than 7.95 billion USD and more than 12.3 trillion VND, thereby, creating jobs for more than 220,000 labors, promoting local socio-economic development.
