Nguyen Son Long (Viet Yen) wins first prize at “Reading Culture Ambassador Contest”

(BGO) – The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST) on July 18 coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to hold a ceremony to conclude and award the preliminary round of “Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2020” in Bac Giang province which was launched by the Ministry of  Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In the province, the Contest was launched to all students at the primary, secondary, high schools, vocational training facilities, regular education centers and Ngo Gia Tu College from May 2020 till July 2020.

Leader of Department of Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) awards the first prize to Nguyen Son Long in Bich Dong town Primary School (Viet Yen).

As of June 29, 2020, 264 establishments in 10 districts and city joined the event with more than 75,000 submitted entries, nearly tripling the figure in 2019 including 56 videos.

The Organization Board awarded first prize to Nguyen Son Long, student at class 4E in Bich Dong town Primary School (Viet Yen district); three prizes (A, B, C) and 10 consolidation prizes to the groups of primary, secondary and high schools.

Additionally, the collective prize was awarded to the school with the most participating students, particularly to Lang Giang No.1 High School (High School group); Ngo Si Lien Secondary School (Secondary School group); Ngo Si Lien Primary School (Primary School group) in Bac Giang city.

Also, the Organization Board presented prize to Tan My Primary School as the school with the most prized students while Lang Giang No.2 High School was awarded as the school with the most participating candidates and beautiful entries.

20 entries with highest score were selected to submit to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to join the national final round.
