Over 500 youth members and locals join “Pink vacation” programme at Bao Son commune
The “Pink vacation” is one of 5 contents under the youth volunteer movement launched by the Central Youth Union in the annual summer. In Bac Giang, the “Pink vacation” programme 2019 is launched by the units under the Youth Union in the provincial Organisations and Business Block so as to mobilise the man power and facilities to organize volunteer activities for the community.

On the occasion, the Center Youth Union and Youth Union in the Ministry of Science and Technology presented 20 gift packages to the policy beneficial families and disadvantaged students (each worth 500,000 VND or 21.54 USD); 50 helmets for students; 300 books of vocational guidance to the secondary school in Bao Son commune.

The Center Youth Union supported 50 million VND (over 2,100 USD) to the hi-tech model of melon cultivation of Nguyen Van Thuc in Bao Son commune. Meanwhile, the Youth Unions in the Ministry of Science and Technology and the provincial Business Block helped to install the lighting equipment in 2 kilometres of road in Quat Son village totally worth 20 million VND (861 USD).

Besides, the agencies provided equipment and support to inaugurate the entertainment facility to the children; facilitated to build humanitarian house; sponsored poor students; offered health examination and medicine to nearly 200 older persons, invalids, sick soldiers and poor people in Bao Son commune as well as gifting to policy beneficial families living in difficulties in Bao Son and Bao Dai communes (Luc Nam district).
At the same day, the Youth Unions in the provincial Organization and Business Block inked an emulative agreement on implementing “3 responsibilities” movement.
