Personal health records created for Viet Yen’s residents

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province) has implemented the plan of making dossier, organizing health examination and profile management for the local residents.

Residents in Viet Tien commune are examined and consulted on health conditions at the communal Medical Station.

The subjects include all residents in the district who is divided into groups for medical examination like kids under 6 year-olds; students; state officials, civil servants and labors; the elderly, the retired and free labor.

Hence, the health profile recording, monitoring and managing are based on the defined groups. Particularly, group 1 will have the health checked at the medial station and culture house in the hamlet and ward; group 2 will examine their health condition in the schools for the students of all grades while group 3 will have the medical examination at offices and agencies.

The health consultation helps identify the personal medical history; provide the residents with the disease prevention measures and regular checkups as well as advise on a healthy diet, reasonable practicing routine, family planning, environmental sanitation and food hygiene safety. Besides, the programme will consult a suitable treatment at the medical station or transfer the patient to a higher level for more effective examination or cure.

Also, it targets at making the personal health records for all the residents in the district so that each case will be monitored, initially cared, advised on healthcare and treatment or transferred to suitable medical level.

All the relevant tasks of surveying, reviewing, collecting the subjects’ data, making dossier and managing the locals’ health condition will be started on January 1, 2019, and completed within one year.
