In the upcoming time, Bac Giang moves toward organic farm production with socio-economic development, rural modernization and environmental protection to adapt to the climate change condition. The agricultural sector will be developed toward concentrated community production to gradually form the hi-tech farm areas.

Via discussion, the representatives needed to clarify the concept of organic agriculture to have a correct understanding. Currently, many people are confused between normal and organic products, causing an impact on the benefit of consumers.

Concluding the event, Vice Chairman Thai pressed on the inevitable trend of organic farm production. However, the production condition of organic agriculture is really strict with a thorough survey on soil, water, climate and others to plan and build the qualified production area.

Bac Giang province has several factors to realize organic agriculture. Additionally, the favourable location helps ease product transport and consumption. Vice Chairman informed that the province is building the steps to implement the organic farm production after the Government issued the Decree on this task.

He assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to cooperate with Vietnam Institute of Applied Technology and Agricultural Development to make a provincial specific project on organic agriculture ensuring the feasibility with a detailed roadmap.
