Provincial Party leader and President’s entourage successfully wrap off Switzerland, Russia visits

(BGO) - At the invitation of Swiss President Guy Parmelin and the President of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc led a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to pay official visits to Switzerland and Russia from November 25 to December 2. Duong Van Thai, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Bac Giang provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies, joined the delegation.

The official visit to Switzerland of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and entourage took place on the occasion of the two countries celebrating the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations (1971 - 2021).

In November 28, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visit and meet Vietnamese officials working at international organizations in Geneva.

The visit strongly expressed Vietnamese message to foster practical and multilateral relations with Switzerland; affirmed the policy from Vietnam to appreciate the partnership with the United Nation and its professional organizations based on Switzerland.
