Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has been named the Most Valuable Player of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018 for his significant contributions to the Vietnamese football squad’s victory at the tournament.

The Hanoi midfielder made his debut for the Golden Dragons against Jordan in June 2017.
He became a favorite among Vietnamese football fans after guiding the nation to the final of the AFC U23 Championship earlier this year scoring five goals in the tournament, according to Fox Sports Asia.
With the only goal scored on December 15 night, Vietnam's national football team brought home the AFF Suzuki Cup trophy, after 10 years.
