Quang Ninh to host World Circus Festival

The 2019 World Circus Festival, themed ‘New chapter for a wonder’, will be held in Ha Long City, in the northern province of Quang Ninh, from November 11-17.

The event will feature over 100 artists from 20 countries and territories around the world, including Mongolia, Cuba, Ethiopia, Canada, Moldova, Brazil, Germany, Russia, the US, Japan, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

At the International Circus Festival 2019.

A wide variety of attractive events will be held during the festival, such as a street circus art parade, the circus competition, a gala of special circus performances, a seminar on ‘circus with potential for tourism development and an international culinary festival.

The jury of the World Circus Festival - Ha Long 2019 consists of seven members from Vietnam’s and the World’s Circus Associations.

In addition, many well-known Vietnamese singers will give performances at several activities.

The organising board will sell tickets for competition nights, ranging from VND600,000 to VND2 million.

The festival is expected to contribute to promoting the potential, advantages, nature, culture and people of the city which is famous for Ha Long Bay – a Natural Wonder of the World.
