The art programme themed “Bac Ninh: A millennium of enduring culture – aspiring to rise in the new era” is performed in 3 chapters including: (1) The Flow of history - a millennium of culture, (2) From traditional craft villages to an industrial hub in northern Vietnam and (3) the Land of aspiration and shining bright.

Many special songs, quan ho and artistic dance performances will be performed by famous artists and singers such as the People’s Artists Thuy Huong, Quoc Hung, Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh and singers Anh Tho, Bui Le Man, Hoa Minzy, Luong Nguyet Anh and Tran Tung Anh.

Besides, the artists, actors and actresses from Bac Ninh Culture Centre, Bac Ninh Quan ho Folk Song Theatre, Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, Vietnam National Academy of Music, music bands and hundreds of students of the 2 provinces will also perform at the event.

The programme features cutting-edge stage performance technology, integrating digital innovations and large-scale 3D mapping art. It will be broadcast live from the two locations including the 3/2 Square and the Kinh Bac Cultural Centre Square, via the provincial Voice and Television.

The event will conclude with a high-altitude firework display at both venues.
