The display opened with fireworks mimicking the rhythm of bronze drums, symbolising the legendary roots of Lac Hong. Scenes of blooming lotuses, flying lac birds, and rolling ocean waves then followed, painting a poetic image of a peaceful yet proud Viet Nam.
The pinnacle of the night was the “Flying dragon of Viet Nam” sequence – a multi-directional, colour-shifting explosion of light that resembled a golden dragon soaring skyward, synchronised to stirring music.
The finale featured interlaced bursts of red and gold, forming the national flag, drawing a thunderous standing ovation from the crowd.
Behind the mesmerising performance was months of meticulous preparation. Engineers and technicians from the Z121 team devoted countless hours to design, testing, and assembly, ensuring both safety and visual perfection.
