According to Nguyen Dinh Hieu, Director of the Department of Finance, Bac Giang is currently exerting efforts on accelerating progress to meet the targets set for 2025, in line with central government directions.

Notably, by the end of May, Bac Giang's socio-economic indicators significantly surpassed their planned targets. The province's economic growth rate in Q1 led the country, far exceeding projections.

For the first time, Bac Giang ranked second nationwide in export turnover (after Ho Chi Minh City).

Its budget revenue was high, laying a solid foundation for future advancements.

Bac Giang is committed to taking methodical and substantive steps, using practical effectiveness as the criterion for evaluating the implementation of the resolutions, and developing specific roadmaps and plans.

It plans to focus on the arrangement and consolidation of the political system's organisational structure in 2025 and for the 2025-2030 term.

It will work to ensure progress in developing plans for rearrangement and reorganisation of administrative units at all levels, and building a two-tier local government model, avoiding any disruption or delay in delivering services for citizens and businesses, handling administrative procedures, and conducting state management activities at the grassroots level.

The province will continue to restructure public investment by concentrating capital on key projects with high spillover effects, while creating breakthroughs in attracting domestic and foreign private capital through public-private partnerships.

It will enhance the quality of human resource training, especially high-quality personnel; increase state budget investment to improve the quality of training, scientific research, and technology transfer; and prioritise investment in important training sectors that align with new-era socio-economic development orientations.

Bac Giang will comprehensively review the legal system and abolish inappropriate regulations; leverage new-generation free trade agreements; continue to make breakthroughs in improving the business investment environment; and cut administrative procedures by at least 30%, and digitising public services.

Bac Giang's strength and position are steadily growing, poised for significant breakthroughs in the near future. With its merger with Bac Ninh to form the "new" Bac Ninh province, Bac Giang is entering a stage of development with a larger scale and higher expectations.

This demands innovative thinking, new approaches, and strong collective efforts from the entire political system, business community, and its citizens.

To achieve these strategic goals, effectively implementing the "Four Pillars" as directed is an urgent requirement. The proposals from the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Industry and Trade, the provincial Business Association, and local businesses will contribute to helping Bac Giang realise these crucial resolutions, creating sustainable development momentum for the new period.
