Bac Giang lychees promoted by various channels

BAC GIANG – The Chairman of the Bac Giang People’s Committee has issued a directive to support the programme “Luc Ngan Lychee Week – Proud Vietnamese Agricultural Products,” aiming to boost lychee consumption through digital and on-site marketing.

Under the plan, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, local authorities in Luc Ngan and Chu Township, as well as TikTok Vietnam and Sendo Farm.

The campaign will connect lychee producers—gardens and cooperatives meeting Japanese geographical indication, VietGAP, GlobalGAP or organic standards—with consumers nationwide.

Key activities include farm tours, livestreams, video promotions and a hashtag-driven social media push. TikTok Vietnam will support with content, marketing strategies, and influencer engagement.

The agriculture department will provide data on harvest progress, production volume, and fruit quality.

It will also assist growers with harvesting, packaging, and preservation techniques to meet domestic and export standards. Information on growing areas will be digitized to support traceability.

Local governments will facilitate events and mobilize growers to join, ensuring product quality. Provincial media outlets will promote the campaign across platforms to raise awareness and drive demand.

TikTok and Sendo will draft detailed implementation plans and provide technical platforms and digital tools for product marketing.

The programme reflects Bac Giang’s broader push to modernize agricultural trade and expand market access for local specialties.
