Chinh highly valued Apple expanding business production in Vietnam, creating over 200,000 jobs. He hopes Apple could help with the training of high-quality personnel and consider Vietnam to be a manufacturing hub to participate in the global supply chain and diversify the market.

Cook arrived in Vietnam on Monday to meet with developers and content creators. Over his 36 hours in the country, Cook took part in several activities, including a meeting with singer My Linh and her daughter My Anh, meeting with tech influencer Ngo Duc Duy and rappers Viet Max and Suboi, and visiting the Antiantiart studio.

Cook also met with the developers of CollaNote and Elsa Speak, as well as having exchanges with Bryan Pelz, CEO of Bootloader Studio, on a project to support the Vision Pro.

On his second day in Vietnam, Cook visited Hanoi Star primary and secondary school, and attended a class where students utilized the iPad.

Previously, Apple said it would increase spending for suppliers in Vietnam, along with developing community projects. The tech giant said it has spent around VND400 trillion ($15.8 million) since 2019 through the local supply chain.
