1. 3. On August 24, the Executive Board of the Provincial Party Committee organized a mid-term summary of the implementation of the 19th Provincial Party Congress’s Resolution, term 2020-2025.

4. Bac Giang province ranked first nationwide in the growth rate of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), reaching 13.45 percent (nearly 2.5 times higher than the national average). The economic scale was increasingly expanded, hitting 181.9 trillion VND (about 7.6 billion USD), rising to 12th position in the country, leading the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region. The province also set a new record in investment attraction with about 3 billion USD of foreign direct investment (FDI), ranking 4th in the country. Total export and import turnover was estimated at 52.4 billion USD, ranking 6th in the country...

5. The business investment environment was improved sharply. The provincial-level assessment indicators announced in 2023 were improved positively. Particularly, the provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) increased 29 places, ranking 2nd in the country; the index of direction, management and serving people and businesses ranked first nationwide; the administrative reform index (Par Index) increased 3 places, ranking 4th in the country...

6. Viet Yen district becomes a township with 9 wards including: Bich Dong, Nenh, Tang Tien, Hong Thai, Quang Minh, Ninh Son, Van Trung, Quang Chau, Tu Lan. The remaining communes maintain their status. Luc Nam district was recognized as new style rural district.

7. The education sector reaped many achievements, affirming its position on the "golden table" of educational achievements nationwide.

8. In 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications announced the results of the 2022 digital transformation index ranking of provinces, cities, ministries and branches. Bac Giang ranked 9th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 1 place compared to 2021. Thus, for 3 consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022), Bac Giang province has been in the top 10 provinces and cities in the country in terms of digital transformation index.

9. High performance sports achieved several impressive results. At SEA Games 32, Bac Giang athletes won 7 medals of all kinds, especially, track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh won 4 gold medals; athlete Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy won gold medal at the 2023 World Wushu Championship in the US.

10. Political security, social order and safety were maintained.
