Located on the bank of Con River, An Thai – a traditional trade village of dry vermicelli and rice paper in Nhon Phuc Commune, An Nhon Town, in the south central coastal province of Binh Dinh, is over 100 years old.

An Thai Village’s typical products, such as rice vermicelli, wheat flour vermicelli, Song Than green bean vermicelli and thin rice paper, have become popular nationwide and are also exported to China, Laos and Cambodia.

Besides beautiful beaches and the famous Son Tra Peninsula, the central city of Da Nang also has a 400-year-old traditional craft of making fish sauce at Nam O village.
Hanoi city authorities have had the vision to combine agricultural and traditional craft villages with tourism development, which has produced encouraging results. This has proven to be a new direction for the capital city’s agricultural sector, helping to raise production value and increase the income of people in rural areas.
Ha Thai lacquerware is now enjoying a new vitality and has established a firm position among the famous craft villages in Vietnam, with most of its products being exported.
Phuc Sen village in the northern province of Cao Bang is not a place first-time visitors might want to stay long, as the noise may come as a shock.

traditional craft village making Chu rice noodle in Thu Duong village, Nam
Duong commune, Luc Ngan district ( Bac Giang province) is always hustle and
bustle. All the noodle making households double the capacity to timely deliver
the products to the market.
