Turkish President honours Vietnamese earthquake rescue workers
The ceremony was attended by the rescue forces of Turkey along with 90 countries and territories, including Vietnam.

Following the earthquake in Turkey on February 6, more than 11,000 workers arrived in the country to support the relief efforts. Additionally, countries and international organisations provided 250,000 tents to the affected regions.
The Turkish government is aiming to build 315,000 sturdy houses for earthquake-struck people within a year, and construction work has begun in many areas after the completion of safety inspections.
Recognising the contributions of international rescue teams, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that the ceremony is significant in promoting closer relations between countries, especially in addressing international issues.
At the ceremony, the Turkish leader presented the order to the teams of Vietnamese rescue officers who participated in the earthquake rescue efforts in the country.
