88 agencies, businesses, units and organizations in the province responded to the appeal after one month of launching from March 1 – 31. Previously, on March 9, the provincial RCS handed over more than one billion VND to support the victims in the first period.

Thus, the total donation in the campaign reached nearly 2.6 billion VND in cash and kind. Some units with high support results included the RCS in Bac Giang city (nearly 700 million VND), the RCS in Lang Giang district (more than 180 million VND), the RCS in Yen Dung district (nearly 140 million VND), the RCS in Tan Yen district (nearly 130 million VND) and Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company in Lang Giang district (donated 500 warm shirts, worth 155 million VND).

To achieve that result, the provincial RCS called on agencies, units, businesses, religious organizations, collectives and individuals in the province and directed all chapters at all levels to coordinate with other departments, sectors and branches to actively join hands and assist the people in Turkey and Syria to overcome the difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Bac Giang appeals to donate nearly 11,000 blood units

(BGO) -  For the first three months of this year, the Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation (VBD) in Bac Giang province has cooperated with local organizations, agencies and schools to launch 14 VBD events and receive 10,753 safe blood units in line with the Minstry of Health’s standard (accounting for 59.7 percent of 2023 target), reported the provincial Red Cross Society.

(BGO) – The Standing Board of Fatherland Front’s Committee (FFC) in Bac Giang province received nearly 9.8 billion VND (394,000 USD) from organizations, agencies and businesses donating to the Fund for the poor at all levels in the Action month for the Poor (October 17 till November 18, 2022).
