A house on HCMC’s Binh Quoi street suddenly collapsed on Sept. 24, 2023.

Dinh Khac Huy, president of Binh Thanh People’s Committee, said there were seven people inside the building when it collapsed, and five had been immediately accounted for.

The roof, the concrete walls, and almost ten reinforced columns of the house fell down. Interior including tubs, water heaters, and other furniture were also broken.

Dozens of police officers and equipment were brought to the site to aid the rescue. Part of Binh Quoi street was locked down, so that firetrucks and ambulances could approach the collapsed house.
