Two Vietnamese photographers win int'l gold medals
The photo taken by Nguyen Dang Hao captures thousands of storks flying above Van Long Lagoon, surrounded by karst limestone mountains and spectacular caves.

Covering more than 3,000 hectares, Van Long Lagoon is considered the Red River Delta's wetland nature reserve and home to thousands of terrestrial and aquatic fauna and flora. Among them are rare and endangered species listed in Vietnam's Red Book like the Delacour's langur.
The other award-winning photo, of Vu Hai, depicts a dragon procession on Ngo Dong River in the Tam Coc-Bich Dong area, which has long been a tourist gem in the northern region, famous for its golden rice season.

The contest, organized by Novi Sad, Kotor and Podgorica photography clubs of Serbia and Montenegro and sponsored by the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), drew entries from 37 countries and territories worldwide to compete in different categories like travel, portrait and people.
