In particular, Viet Yen district has two world intangible cultural heritage, namely Quan ho (love duet singing) and Ca tru (ceremonial singing).

According to the data of the district’s Culture and Information Division, since early this year, Viet Yen has received 30,000 visitors. Of whom, 5,000 visited the traditional craft villages, doubling the figure of the same period last year.

Bui Ta Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Van Ha commune People's Committee, said: "On average, each week, from 50 to 60 delegations of tourists visit Tho Ha and Yen Vien villages, most of them come from Europe. In one day, they will visit the ancient communal house and old buildings, walk around the village, and call at some craft establishments.

According to Dao Trong Ca, head of the district's Culture and Information Division, in order to awaken the potential of local tourism, the district attaches great importance to building a "tour" linking Bo Da pagoda and Tho Ha ancient village as the two places are close to each other. This tour is suitable for visitors’ roadmap. The district will continue developing the traditional festival of Bo Da pagoda imbued with identity. It strives to lure 50,000 tourists in 2019.

To achieve the set objectives, the Party committees and authorities at all levels shall direct organizations in places housing relic sites and craft villages to promote communications and encourage people to protect the environment and keep landscapes clean and beautiful.
