Vietnam aims among world’s top 50 countries with highest tourism competitiveness
The programme aims to develop tourism into a spear head economic sector and place Vietnam among the top 50 nations with the highest tourism competitiveness in the world.

The building of the action programme was contributed to by managers, experts, businesses and those working in the hospitality sector.
The programme identifies the key tasks for the country’s tourism sector, including reviewing, evaluating and completing policies on facilitating tourism development; boosting the application of advanced and digital technology in tourism; and increasing investment in tourism infrastructure.
Overriding priority will also be given to developing high-quality tourism products and services; supporting tourism businesses’ recovery from Covid-19; enhancing human resources; and accelerating tourism promotion activities and international cooperation in tourism.
