Wanderlust has listed Vietnam among top 21 best places around the world to visit in January.

According to Wanderlust, the weather in Vietnam is similarly pleasant, dry and sunny in January. Crowds have yet to arrive post-Christmas so visitors can get the chance to experience this uber-popular country in relative peace, noted the magazine.

Wanderlust suggests that visitors spend more time to experience the whole country. Visitors will never get bored of Vietnam's varied cities such as Hoi An, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hue, the perfect city for cycling enthusiasts, added the magazine.

Natural beauty is around every corner in Vietnam, too. Visitors can admire the world's largest cave system, Son Doong. In addition to Ha Long Bay, the lesser-known Lan Ha Bay is also attractive and accessible from Cat Ba Island. Tourists can seek out the rare golden-haired langur in Cat Ba National Park.
