Vietnam Digital Transformation Alliance makes debut.

It aims to call on large ICT enterprises, leading experts and institutes to shake hands with the Government, ministries, organisations and enterprises to speed up the progress of digital transformation in Vietnam.

Addressing the event, Chairman of Viettel Le Dang Dung, who is also chairman of the alliance, stressed that the alliance comprises Vietnam’s biggest telecom and IT enterprises with a mission to inspire the society on digital transformation and forge infrastructure and service foundations for Vietnamese enterprises and society to go digital. In the next phase, the alliance will invite competent enterprises to join.

Bac Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital successfully performs surgery on 169 cases of congenital heart defects

(BGO) - Open and closed heart operation techniques were successfully transferred to the Bac Giang Obstetrics and Paediatrics Hospital in April 2015.  Over the past over 4 years, the hospital’s doctors have successfully performed surgery on 169 children diagnosed with ventricular septal defect, atrial septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus.

Enterprises seek chances to export farm produce to Mexico

 A delegation of the Vietnam Food Association (VFA) made a working visit to Mexico from August 3-7 to look for chances to export rice and other farm produce to American country.

Hanoi has nearly 3,500 accommodation establishments

By the end of July 2019, Hanoi had 3,499 accommodation establishments with 60, 812 rooms, according to the municipal Department of Tourism. Of the figure, only 564 establishments have been rated, offering 22,749 rooms, with 67 three- to five-star hotels, and seven four- to five-star condotels.
