Vietnamese Australian seeks for investment opportunities in Bac Giang

(BGO)- Recently, at the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs (DOFA), leaders of Bac Giang DOFA and Business Association had a meeting with some Vietnamese Australians seeking for investment opportunities and business partnership in the northern province of Bac Giang. The meeting was attended by Nguyen Hoang Trung, DOFA’s Director and Nguyen Duc Kha, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Business Association.

At the meeting, Tran Dang Hue (or Harry Tran), CEO of AusViet Sumo Group, a Vietnamese Australian talked about trade and investment promotion between Vietnam and Australia, the issues in residence in Australia, seeking partners in real estate and cooperation in vocational training while providing information of some Australian fruit processing companies.

Addressing the meeting, Nguyen Hoang Trung briefed the guests on the socio-economic situation of Bac Giang province, investment attraction of the province in 2018, investment cooperation and external affairs of the province recently. 

Besides, he requested the Group to support the province in introducing giant enterprises from Australia who is experienced in post-harvest processing and preservation of agricultural products especially the key and signature products of Bac Giang province such as lychee and grapefruits.

Also at the meeting, representative of Bac Giang Business Association talked about production and business situation of the firms in the province. He expected the Group to serve as a bridge for enterprises of Bac Giang province to explore the Australia market and support them to connect to Australian enterprises.
