Vietnamese TikTokers among world’s top content creators

Linh Barbie and Tra Dang, the most followed TikTokers in Vietnam, were named among top 50 content creators in the world by the platform.

In TikTok’s Discovery List this year, its top content creators are featured across five categories: Changemakers, Icons, Innovators, Foodies and Originators.

Tra Dang, 24, is the most followed TikTok content creator in Vietnam with 19.3 million. She is placed in the Innovators category. Her content impressed viewers with stunning visuals, amazing transformation and interesting concepts. Tra Dang also showed her great singing and dancing skills in her videos.

"I’m honored to be featured in the Discovery List this year. As a content creator, I always want to challenge myself by making videos that have a positive impact on the TikTok community," she said.

The other Vietnamese TikTok creator on the list is Linh Barbie, who is placed in the Icon category. She currently has 18.6 million followers on TikTok. Aside from her appearance, Linh attracted viewers with her funny content and good acting skills. She also stars in several online film projects and does modeling.

"My life completely changed when I started creating content on TikTok. I had more motivation to express myself and met many great people. The love and support that I received from the TikTok community transformed me into a new person. I hope I can continue bringing positive values to the community in the future," Linh said.

The Discovery List is an annual showcase of TikTok to recognize 50 creators who have a positive impact on the platform. TikTok selects the creators for the list based on video creations, views, account growth, likes, interactions with followers, and content that have sparked conversations on and off the platform.
