Vietnam’s Ao Dai introduced at global fashion event in India

The Embassy of Vietnam in India has organized an Ao Dai (long dress) show in India in an effort to popularize Vietnamese culture and the national costume of Vietnam.

The show was held within the framework of the third Global Fashion and Design Week from April 17-19 in Film City in Noida, the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Around 200 designers from various countries attended the event, showcasing 700 designs.
Apart from shows, the event has seminars on press, cinematography, and fashion.
Vietnamese designer to introduce ‘Ao dai’ in Russia
Designer Minh Hanh gave a talk about Ao dai (traditional long dress) named "Vietnamese culture - traditional values of Ao dai and influences on modern life" at the Moscow State Linguistic University (MGLU) on November 16.
