According to the Organising Committee, the results of the contest have made an important contribution to the effective implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No.35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018, on “strengthening the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation and refuting wrongful and hostile views in the new situation”.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, emphasised that protecting the Party's ideological foundation is protecting the correctness, stature, scientific, revolutionary and humanistic nature of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, as well as protecting the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, causing the Party's ideology to spread and penetrate deeply into the political and spiritual life of the society.
