‘I love my Fatherland’ 2022 journey launched in Quang Ngai

The ‘I love my Fatherland’ 2022 journey entitled “Youth journey to ethnic minority groups” was launched in the mountainous district of Tra Bong, in Quang Ngai province on June 25.

The annual event was jointly held by the Vietnam Youth Federation and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Ngai province.

Addressing the event, the Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Hai Minh said that Quang Ngai is one out of four provinces (Lai Chau, Quang Ngai, Soc Trang and Kon Tum) selected to launch the 2022 journey at the central level.

He noted that the journey is a special event for the Vietnamese youth to show their love for the nation while preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minority groups, contributing to spreading the national solidarity and sharing spirit among the ethnic groups of Vietnam.

After eight years, the event has received enthusiastic participation and response from young people through various practical activities.

Within the framework of the launch ceremony, 80 scholarships were presented to ethnic minority students while social houses and schools were handed over to local people in need. People in need within the province were also presented with gifts, medicine and health examinations worth a total of 3.2 billion VND.
