Recently, the Vietnam Student Association has granted “Five-Good Student” title to three collectives in the province in 2021, including D- KHCT8A branch, inter Youth Union of Department of Economy and Finance at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) and Youth Union at Vietnam – Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech).

“Five-Good Student” movement has been launched since 2013 to create image of comprehensive student. With such practical meaning, the provincial university and colleges have implemented the movement among numerous participating students.

In last academic year, all students at the Youth Union of VK Tech registered to get Five-Good Student” title, 60 percent of whom were granted with school-level title.

Similarly, nearly 70 percent of students at the inter-Youth Union of Department of Economy and Finance at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) achieved excellent and good academic results, many joined scientific research as well as studied foreign language and computer skills.

Registering to the movement, student Nguyen Ngoc Anh in class D-KETOAN8A at the Department of Economy and Finance (BAFU) is a model in study and practice. Apart from excellent academic result, Ngoc Anh also well conducts the task of a female Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairwoman of Bafu Green Volunteer Club and actively participates in cultural and art events…

With great efforts in acquiring knowledge, Anh won second prize at Bac Giang creative student festival, second prize in English at school contest of “Excellent student in Informatics and Foreign Language”. In academic year 2020 – 2021, she gained scholarship for excellent student at BAFU and Five-Good Student” title at school and province levels.

Together with organizing activities for students, all levels of the Youth Union have paid due attention to communicating and instructing students to complete the criteria for the title from school level; assisting and honoring collectives and individuals winning the title at all levels; connecting to business to take students on internship period, consider the talented scholarship as well as introduce suitable jobs…

Thus, the movement has been more and more popularized with effectiveness. In academic year 2020 – 2021, 120 individuals and five collectives in Bac Giang province were honored as Five-Good Student” title at school level and 25 others as Five-Good Student” title at the provincial level.

To maintain and support youngsters to join “Five-Good Student” movement amid complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, all youth unions and student associations at the educational facilities divided activities or held online event to ensure disease preventive measures.

According to Giap Xuan Canh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Youth Federation, many excellent models have been found in the movement with outstanding achievements in study, talent, innovation, humanitarian spirit and international integration confidence.

To widespread the movement, the youth unions at educational establishments should continue popularizing its meaning, organize connection and exchange activities with outstanding “Five-Good Student” model as well as useful events to create practicing environment for students.
