10 football clubs ready to compete in Vietfootball Cup 2019

The Vietfootball Cup 2019 is scheduled to take place between June 9 and August 11 in Hanoi, with a total of 10 football clubs from across the country set to participate.

The information was released during the launching ceremony for the tournament in Hanoi on May 29. The competition has been organised by the Vietnam Football Federation, the Hanoi Football Federation, and the Vietfootball Company.

The clubs involved in the tournament include Luxury Ha Long, My Dinh 2, Hong Linh, Coca, Tu Son, Viet Phuong Dong, Hiep Hoa Group, Mobi, UCE Le Duong, and Cuong Quoc.

The tournament will take place at the stadium belonging to the Hanoi National University of Education with the teams set to compete in a round-robin format.

Each club will only be allowed to register a maximum of five footballers who experienced professional football in 2018 such as the V-League, First League, National Cup, Second League, and National U19 Championship.

This is the fourth time that the tournament has been held in Vietnam and aims to promote sports within the community.
