129 billion VND allocated to build and renovate power grid in Bac Giang province
BAC GIANG - The Northern Power Corporation has just assigned Bac Giang Power Company to be the investor to implement 9 projects which build and renovate the power grid in Bac Giang province in 2025.
9 projects target to construct 28.4 km of new medium-voltage lines; build and renovate 163.5 km of low-voltage lines; build 90 new substations with a total capacity of 19,860 kVA, with a total investment of 129 billion VND (5.58 million USD) across 10 districts, towns and city in the province.

The projects will be started at the end of 2024 and be completed and energized before March 31, 2025.
After being put into use, the projects will help reduce voltage loss on the line, improve the quality of electricity for downstream loads and reduce the number of low-voltage customers; prevent grid overload as well as ensure power supply to serve the political tasks and socio-economic development of the province in the period of 2021-2025.
To complete these projects on schedule, the Board of Directors of Bac Giang Power Company assigned the Project Management Board and the Investment Management Department of the Company to strengthen inspection, supervision and field surveys so as to provide optimal solutions to ensure fast, safe and economical construction.
Bac Giang Power Company is urgently implementing steps to select construction contractors, supply equipment and materials and strive to complete energizing projects on schedule assigned by the Northern Power Corporation.
