The province now is home to more than 4,700 operating enterprises, over 500 of which has established the trade union.

In 2018, all levels of the trade union, officer, staff, public servant and labor conducted 61 scientific topics at provincial level, 874 topics at grassroots level, 75 projects and products with a total value of more than 260 billion VND (11.2 million USD) as well as nearly 2,000 creative ideas with benefited value of over 4.3 billion VND (over 185,000 USD).

On the occasion, 133 outstanding members of the trade union were honored by the provincial People’s Committee, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the provincial Labor Federation.

This year, the trade union, officer, staff, public servant and labor register to execute 117 provincial scientific topics, more than 1,200 grassroots topics, 81 projects and products totally worth nearly 72 billion VND (3.1 million USD) and some 2,000 invention or solutions to benefit about 16 billion VND (over 689,000 USD).

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the VGCL Tran Van Thuat highly appreciated the results achieved by all levels of trade union in the province, especially honoring the outstanding labors.

To effectively launch the Worker Month 2019, he suggested the provincial trade union to select the practical contents and actively execute various activities to care for the spiritual and material life to the labors while acknowledging the typical models, focusing on developing the trade unionists and grassroots unions so as to firmly build the trade union and boost up the emulative movements.

Responding to the Worker Month 2019, the provincial Labor Federation mobilized the Fund of “Trade Union’s Cosy House” to support 13 worker families living in difficult circumstances to improve their houses with 25 – 30 million VND (1,000 – 1,300 USD) per household.

Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam pays visit to Bac Giang’s enterprises and laborers after Tet holiday

(BGO) – On February 11, the Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam paid a visit to encourage the enteprises and laborers in the northern province of Bac Giang after 9-day Lunar New Year holiday. He was accompanied by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Van Linh; Vice PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong and Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu.  

 

56.7 billion VND spent on Tet bonus to laborers

(BGO) – Ahead of the Lunar New Year festival (Year of the Pig), leaders of Taiwanese invested New Wing Interconnect Technology Company Limited (in Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) mobilized 56.7 billion VND (over 2.4 million USD) to provide Tet bonus to nearly 12,600 laborers.

More than 30,000 new jobs created to Bac Giang laborers

(BGO) - According to the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), more than 30,000 laborers have been recruited in the northern province of Bac Giang, up 3.4 percent against the target of 2018. 

 

Vietnam Siflex crowns champions of Football Championship for Industrial Parks’ labors

(BGO) – The Trade Union of the Industrial Parks in the northern province of Bac Giang on November 11 held the closing and awarding ceremony to the football teams with achievement in the first Male Football Championship for the Industrial Parks’ workers, staff and labors in 2018 in Bich Dong town, Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province).
