Deserved reward to Dam Thach Thao Nhi

As one out of four students of Bac Giang province scoring 10 on foreign languages at the recent NHE exam in 2019, Dam Thach Thao Nhi in Thang town (Hiep Hoa district) got high scores for total 3 subjects (Maths, Literature and English) of 26.

Her father passed away when she was only 6 years old. She has become self - dependent since early childhood. During 12 studying years, Thao Nhi was recognised as comprehensive excellent student with many awards at online English contests at the levels of district, province and national.

The little girl determined to pass the entrance exam to grade 10 at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted and was one among 10 students with highest score 3 years ago.

Temporarily leaving her mother at home, Thao Nhi went to school in Bac Giang city and continued gaining more academic achievements. She won silver prizes at the contest for excellent students on English at the gifted high schools in Coastal Region and the Northern Delta areas at the grade of 10 and 11 while bagging third prize at the national contest for the excellent students on English at twelve grade.

Sharing about English learning method, Nhi said adding to firmly grasp the class lesson, she actively searches for further knowledge from various Internet sources such as Ielts online test or joins English studying groups on Facebook so as to download the shared document to practise at home.

With the third national prize on English, Thao Nhi was provided with direct entrance to several universities but she still uses the result on the recent NHE exam to register to the Foreign Trade University. In case of passing the entrance, she will try her best to gain the opportunity to study in Germany or the Netherlands.

Similarly, Nguyen Xuan Thuy (Bac Giang city) got 10 mark in English with total score of 16.75 for three subjects of Maths, Literature and English. She is a meticulous and persistent student in the English honor class of K26 during the study process.

At the grade of 12, Xuan Thuy planned the study appropriately with high determination to pass the entrance to the Faculty of International Business at Foreign Trade University, hence gaining dramatically progress on Maths, Literature and English.

Teacher Tran Thi Minh in charge of her class and directly instructed Dam Thach Thao Nhi and Nguyen Xuan Thuy proudly told about her students: “Each girl has different family and study condition but both of them are very independent and active in study to update new knowledge. The perfect score on English at the recent NHE exam is the deserved reward to them”.

While many friends don’t like French, Nguyen Phuong Anh in residential group 6, Dam Than Huy street, Tran Phu ward (Bac Giang city) has special passion for this subject.

Acknowledging that well study of foreign language will open up to a larger world, she defined a clear goal of studying abroad to visit France and admire the magnificent architectures of Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Paris's Notre-Dame Cathedral since early period at the high quality class of Bac Giang city and Bac Giang High School for the Gifted.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy in charge of French revealed that the test in the recent NHE exam was highly differentiate so it was really hard to get the perfect score. Nguyen Phuong Anh gained perfect 10 because she carefully prepared the knowledge and skill. Even though at the end period of the academic year, her study spirit remained high, proving for her meticulousness and high determination.

Born, grown-up and attached to the homeland school, teacher Tien always keeps the qualities and well fulfils the role and responsibility of a Party’s member. Together with the colleagues, she handles every difficulty to complete the task. She was admitted to the Party in 2003.
