The issuance of certificate to packing facilities not only helps ensure the regulation on Chinese’s commodity export requirement but also restricts the interminglement of low quality and fake products.
This year, DoARD instructed to maintain 19 growing area codes in 4 districts of Tan Yen, Yen The, Luc Nam and Luc Ngan with total area of 15,856 ha (accounting for 56.4 percent of the total lychee cultivation area in the province) and estimated output of 95,000 tonnes (nearly 52.8 percent of the lychee quantity in the province) to meet the requirement to export lychee to Chinese market.
