At the event, 500 people including poor households, disadvantaged social beneficial families, Agent Orange victims, single older persons and disabled people in Dong Ky and Hong Ky communes were provided with examination for common diseases on eyes, cardiovascular and respiration as well as consulted on the method to protect the health via a good lifestyle and practising regime.

Besides, each person was presented a set of tonic. An execution cost of over 60 million VND (over 2,500 USD) was sponsored by Elise General Clinic, Hanoi Eye Hospital No.2 and Nuka Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

Since early this year, the Red Cross Society has collaborated with several agencies, enterprises and medical establishments to hold the humanitarian health examination events to about 10,000 people in the province, totally worth nearly 1.1 billion VND (47,100 USD).
