Bac Giang strives to become high-quality service center
BAC GIANG- The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province on November 14 jointly held a ministerial-level scientific workshop themed “Developing high-quality services in Bac Giang province in current context”.
In recent years, Bac Giang province has made great efforts in line with facilitation and support of the central ministries and agencies to become one of the dynamically developed localities in Vietnam.

Particularly, its GRDP growth rate in 2020, 2022, 2023 and the first 9 months in 2024 led the nation when the economic size ranked 12th nationwide and ranked first in the northern midland and mountainous region.
Despite gaining many significant results in socio-economic development, the service sector has not matched the potentials and advantages of the province.
At the discussion session, the participants agreed with the orientation for development of high-quality services in Bac Giang province. Besides, they identified the roles of application of information technology and development of science and technology market as well as significance of human resource training.
In addition, they raised many valuable and feasible solutions in high-quality service development such as: reinforcing resources and creating favourable framework for development of some service sectors of Bac Giang’s strength including trade, logistics and tourism.

Particularly, the province should develop diversified tourism products in line with preserving and promoting values of the signature natural, cultural and historical heritages. Besides, it is necessary to improve infrastructure and increase attractiveness of tourist sites.
The province should also promote communication and investment attraction in tourism and enhance efficiency of the state administration on high-quality service development.
The representative of the provincial School of Politics highly appreciated the opinions of the participants, which are the basis for the province to work out solutions for high-quality service development and making Bac Giang become a center for high-quality services in northern midland and mountainous areas.
BAC GIANG- The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in collaboration with the Vietnam Journalists Association organised the 16th "For the Cause of Great National Unity" Press Award ceremony in 2023-2024 in Hanoi on November 11 evening.
BAC GIANG - The Li-Ning VietNam International Badminton Series 2024 takes place from November 12 to 17 at the Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium. After a period of intense concentration, all preparations for the tournament are completed.
The northern province of Bac Giang will continue attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the time ahead, prioritising those using high-tech or relating to supporting industries and high-quality services, local authorities have said.
BAC GIANG - Responding to the Action Month for the Poor in 2024, the Red Cross Society of Binh Duong province on November 8 organized a gift-giving program in Phong Van commune (Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province) to support disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3 in the communes of Phong Van, Cam Son, Kim Son, Sa Ly, Phong Minh, Tan Son (all in Luc Ngan district).
BAC GIANG- Bac Giang Cheo Theatre bagged 2 gold and 2 silver medals at Hanoi Open Stage Festival 2024, which took place from 1 to 9 November.
BAC GIANG – Because building a friendly government is identified as one of the key tasks, the Party committees and authorities in Bac Giang province have had many initiatives to improve the effectiveness of this model.
