The RoK’s GPI operates in the field of children protection and caring with several effective projects in the northern provinces.

At the meeting, both sides discussed about the projects with practical effectiveness to the impoverished students in the disadvantaged localities in Yen The district that are suitable to the GPI’s operating orientation.

Basing on that, GPI exchanged on the detail project to construct and revamp the Kindergarten school in Hong Ky commune introduced by DoFA and Yen The district People’s Committee.

Hong Ky is a poor mountainous commune in Yen The district. Currently, the facility condition in the communal Kindergarten school is under the standard. There are 290 children in the school with a total area of over 2,250 square meters, 12 narrow classrooms including 4 temporary ones.

Besides, the school is excluded the qualified latrines and functional rooms such as medical room, physical and musical education.

Thanks to the fruitful meeting, GPI expressed their willingness to soon complete the formalities to ask for the approval from the headquarter in the RoK to implement the project in Yen The in the future.

Building friendship school from Japanese aid

(BGO) - With the aid from the Asia Education and Friendship Association (AEFA), more than 48,000 USD has been used to build infrastructure facilities at Ngoc Tan, a location of the Ngoc Son Primary School (Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province).
