Many community ecotourism sites in Bac Giang have launched tourism stimulus programme for the fall season with attractive products and preferential services to attract visitors.

Along with repairing items, landscapes, taking care of trees and fruit trees affected by storm No. 3, many tourist attractions have renovated some tents, huts, rooms and new landscapes as well as increased more staff.

Some places offer facilities for tourists to grill food and light campfires in the cool autumn evening air. Since the beginning of October, many sites have applied discount programmes for accommodation services and experience activities.

These days, the eco-tourism destination of Bau Tien in Luc Ngan district is more attractive with green grass, tree-lined roads and clear blue lakes. Visitors coming here will cycle or walk amidst the peaceful, poetic natural scenery, row boats on the rippling lake; visit goat and sheep farms; take beautiful photos in orange and grapefruit gardens laden with fruit; harvest and buy fruits in the garden.

At the same time, they can taste typical dishes of ethnic minorities such as stream fish, flying shrimp, grilled meat and five-color sticky rice among others.

The community tourism destination of Ban Ven in Yen The district is also attracting tourists with its vast bamboo forest; lush green tea hills and unique models and miniatures.

Together with sightseeing and taking photos of the beautiful scenery, visitors can explore the culture of the Cao Lan ethnic group via tea picking, tasting cuisine, trying local costumes, listening to folk songs and experiencing interesting folk games.

Number of tourists to Bac Giang increases by 45%

BAC GIANG – According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, for the first 6 months of this year, Bac Giang has attracted nearly 1.8 million tourist arrivals, up more than 38% over the same period last year, including nearly 15,000 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism business activities is estimated at 995 billion VND (42.2 million USD), an increase of 44.2%.
