Bac Giang welcomes nearly 1.8 million tourist arrivals
BAC GIANG – According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, for the first 6 months of this year, Bac Giang has attracted nearly 1.8 million tourist arrivals, up more than 38% over the same period last year, including nearly 15,000 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism business activities is estimated at 995 billion VND (42.2 million USD), an increase of 44.2%.
This result is achieved thanks to effort of the Provincial People's Committee to direct functional agencies and localities to successfully organize many major events, attracting a large number of local people and tourists together with promotion activities to consume lychees and key farm produce, survey and introduce destinations, craft villages, community based tourism sites and fruit orchards in the province.

Recently, along with investing in preserving and promoting the value of relics, the province has paid attention to building infrastructure to serve tourism, especially the traffic system to facilitate the circulation of vehicles and tourists.
Currently, many community spiritual and ecological tourist areas and destinations have been upgraded such as: Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourist area (Son Dong), Suoi Mo eco-tourism area, Van Hoa Ho Va community based tourism site (Luc Nam), Bau Tien Lake eco-tourism site (Luc Ngan), Ven village community tourist site (Yen The)…
From now until the end of this year, the provincial authorities coordinate with localities and related units to promote the exploitation of tours, routes and tourism markets in 4 directions: Hanoi - Bac Giang City - Luc Nam - Luc Ngan - Son Dong - Quang Ninh; Hanoi - Bac Giang City - Viet Yen - Hiep Hoa; Hanoi - Bac Giang City - Tan Yen - Yen The; Hanoi - Bac Giang City - Yen Dung - Con Son - Kiep Bac (Hai Duong) while connecting and expanding linkage to build tours associated with fruit tree areas in some districts; cultural tourism Hanoi-Tho Ha ancient village, Bo Da pagoda (Viet Yen township).

BAC GIANG - The birth of digital platforms has promoted the digital technology-based business model. Tapping this strength, Bac Giang is implementing agricultural product sale solutions based on digital platforms to increase promotion of and gradually expand the market for local products.

BAC GIANG - Bac Giang Province is developing industrial parks (IPs) for many different industries but focusing on sectors using high technology, and having less environmental impacts and saving land, according to Dao Xuan Cuong, head of the Bac Giang Province Management Board of Industrial Parks.
BAC GIANG – So far, Bac Giang has consumed about 35 out of 50,000 tonnes of early ripening lychees, reported the Department of Industry and Trade. The products are purchased at high prices, bringing great income to gardeners.
