Bac Giang accelerates schedule of e- medical record making
Implementing the PPC’s instruction, Yen The and Yen Dung districts piloted making e-medical records, examining and managing the public health from May 2017 to the end of 2018. To date, 98,524 e-records have been made in Yen The district, accounting for 96.5

Besides, the e-medical record software is integrated with such software of health checkup, treatment and vaccination. Currently, 8 remaining districts and city have planned to execution, striving to complete within 2019.
At the conference, representatives raised their experiences on making the record, examining and managing the public health as well as the shortcomings during implementation.

Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman Duong highly spoke of the results gained by Yen The and Yen Dung districts. Also, he urged other districts and city to establish the steering board and consult the Standing Committees of the district and municipal Party Committees to organize the symposium on making the e-medical record in April 2019, ensuring that all party members and officers to firmly understand the policy and deeply propagandize among the residents.
Additionally, the PPC Vice Chairman encouraged them to learn from Yen Dung district about the data collection method while mobilizing the private doctors, nurses, military doctors posted in the area to join hand in health checkup under each specific group of the subject.

The Department of Health, Department of Information and Communication should prepare a specific instruction to help each locality select the software supplier. Meanwhile, Viettel Bac Giang and VNPT Bac Giang were urged to promptly research the individual identification code to ease the residents in looking up the e-medical record.
