Bac Giang attracts workers, supports businesses in recruiting human resources in Yen Bai province
BAC GIANG - On August 21, a working delegation from Bac Giang province led by Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Bac Giang province, worked with Yen Bai province on promoting labor attraction and supporting enterprises in Bac Giang province to employ human resources.
Bac Giang province currently has 10 established industrial parks (IPs), with an occupancy rate of over 76%. By 2030, the province will have 29 IPs covering total area of 7,000 hectares.

To meet the industrial development, the province is in need of recruiting a large number of workers, 112,000 people in 2024; 90,000 people for each year during the period 2025-2030.
Some enterprises with large recruitment needs include: Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. (47,000 people); Foxconn Technology Group (27,000 people) and Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (13,000 people) among others.
Within the framework of the working session, the DOLISA of the two provinces chaired the conference to promote both direct and virtual labour attraction by connecting different places at three levels of province, district and commune in Yen Bai province.

At the event, the representatives of DOLISA and businesses in Bac Giang province discussed and answered a number of issues that the workers concerned such as: Specific occupations that Bac Giang enterprises are recruiting; health and qualification requirements; salary, bonus, welfare regimes, especially accommodation for workers coming to work in Bac Giang; vocational training support policies for unskilled workers; signing labor contracts among others.
On this occasion, the employment service centers of Bac Giang and Yen Bai provinces signed a cooperation program to promote, attract labor and create jobs between the two localities.
