The period will last till January 30, 2019, when all levels of the RCS strives to call for the donations from various organizations, enterprises and kind-hearted people so as to present 29,000 gifts each worth at least 400,000 VND (over 17 USD) to the poor and AO victims.

Representatives of the provincial Red Cross Society and Bac Giang branch of VNPT present the donated amount to the family of Dao Thi Quy in Chua hamlet, Tien Dung commune (Yen Dung district).

Additionally, the donors are encouraged to donate the clothes, warm blankets and foods for disadvantaged households. The RCS of all levels has reviewed and made a list to support the poor as well as boost up the campaign of “each organization and individual attach to a humanitarian address”.

Miss Ngoc Han joins Bac Giang’s youth in walking for the poor

(BGO) – The Secretary Board of Youth Federation’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang cooperated with the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Youth Union) to hold a walk event of “Youth for the community” on the morning of October 14 to call for donation to the youth and teenagers with special difficult circumstances in response to Action Month for the Poor in 2018.

(BGO) – A culture exchange event has recently taken place at Vietnam Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) in the northern province of Bac Giang between the local College and Korean DeaJin University.  

 

Action Month for the Poor 2018 launched in Bac Giang

(BGO) – The Fatherland Front’s Standing Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang on October 5 held a meeting to conclude the execution of Action Month for the Poor in 2017 and the social security programme in 2018 as well as launch the plan of Action Month for the Poor 2018.

(BGO) – The Fatherland Front’s Committee in Bac Giang city on October 9 launched the Action Month for the Poor, lasting from October 17 to November 18 when all organizations, agencies and enterprises are appealed to join hand to help the poor and families with special difficult circumstances to improve their living standard.

 

Action month to call for joint efforts to support the poor

An action month calling for the joint efforts of the entire country to support the poor will be launched in Hanoi, on October 10, by the Vietnam Father Front's Central Committee.
